4H Club Competition
April 29th, 2008 . by adminEver since I can remember, our 4H club has had a healthy rivalry with the one from the neighboring town. This year, they finally beat us fair and square. Our best events are usually photography and cooking. We did pretty well at cooking, like usual, but everyone knows that photography is all about the presentation. One of the girls has a father who works for a company that makes portable modular exhibition stands, and he donated one for the club to use to exhibit their photography. It was so impressive! They had their club’s logo on a spinning sign, some of their pictures running on an automatic feed, special lighting, and a comfortable place for the judges to sit down. Our wooden stand looked pretty unimpressive in comparison!
