Christmas thinking
May 31st, 2008 . by adminThis blog has to do with the way people think during Christmas. Have you ever noticed that people get into a rut concerning Christmas? They start thinking all sorts of ridiculous things that reallymake no sense, such as:
You have to wish everyone a “Merry Christmas”.
You have to be happy all the time, or you don’t have the “Christmas spirit”.
You have to be extra special nice to others, or put up with more than before dring Christmas season.
You have to buy everyone under the sun Christmas gifts.
Here’smy simple suggestion: Identify these ideas that arise simply from social pressures, and then reject them. Allowing others todecide how you think and what you do is leading us down a very dangerous path. Enjoy Christmas time your way, and apply some critical thinking to what you do and why.
