My Analysis On “Eight Days a Week”
February 21st, 2012 . by adminI read a couple of days ago (in the NYTimes summary) that in California they passed a law that free lawyer advices could not be paid until after ther closing of a refinancing or readjustment of a defaulted mortgage. That was intended to avoid greedy lawyers who charged a fee and then did nothing. Instead, all the people who need legal assistance to adjust their mortgages can’t get a lawyer to help them because no decent real estate lawyer will work on what is essentially a contingency basis. So, these people are at the mercy of the Banks once again.
