After I went through a rather painful and aggravating divorce I realized that really needed to re-focus on my own needs and health. I did the usual things one does after a life-changing event: I changed my hair, I joined a health club, and updated my wardrobe. But I wanted to make a substantial change and really live a healthy life. I heard on the news about the amazing properties of the acai berry and decided to give it a try. I have some great memories of college, but have a few of them that are very disturbing. I had a great roommate, but she had a huge flaw and that was her drinking. Every night it was the same thing, a party or a bar, and she had to be there no matter what. All she wanted to do was go out and get drunk and that is when I started to notice she had an alcohol dependency problem. I knew she needed help, so I talked with a friend of hers and she agreed, so we are going to take her to see a professional next week.

I am going to a party at my sister’s house tomorrow and she likes to delegate to everyone that is her guest what they need to bring or provide. My other sister is bringing the dessert because she is such a great baker and her cakes are the best in town. My brother is bringing the bread and that is only because he lives near a great bakery. It is my job to buy wine since my cooking skills would not exactly attract guests to a party and I am pretty good at choosing which wine will taste the best with our meal.

My husband gets a lot of migraine headaches. Boy, am I ever sick of hearing him complain. I told that when I was in high school I would get a migraine just about every couple of days.
