My husband and I spent several years taking our children to amusement parks.  As they got a little older we decided that a vacation could be a way to teach them geography and history as well.  The challenge was to find a beautiful, restful vacation spot for us and still provide entertainment and a learning experience for the kids.  Eventually we developed a list of destinations, but our favorite has always been the holiday house st remy de provence.  The home is charming and set in a quiet area but still close to historic areas.  All of us especially enjoy our getaways in the beautiful home and our children always come home with real-life history lessons they can share with their classes.

I have been dreaming lately of tropical vacations to Fiji or Aruba where the sun is hot and the sands are white.  I love sitting on the beach all day sunning myself.  I would love to lay on the beach with a tropical frozen drink sipping it as the waves soothe my stress away.  I really could use a vacation.  I dream of me and my husband walking hand and hand in the sun set with the warm ocean breeze blowing at our faces.  It would be so romantic.  I think I will use my next tax return to take that well deserved vacation. 

I called my wife on the way to work today, and I told her that I had a surprise for her.  She asked me what the occasion was, and I told her that it was actually our two year anniversary.  She didn’t believe me at first, but then she realized that she had forgotten it.  She was having a hard time knowing what date was what over the last few weeks.  Her job has pretty much swallowed her up.   I told that I already had taken time off for her, and we would be staying at the Venice Beach California Hotel.  

I like to shop but lately the best way for me to get most of my shopping done is through the net. It is the stay at home and shop twenty four hours a day option that appeals to me the most. I was able to get my entire vacation trip planned and booked from the net as well and that was the most convenient way I know of to get that sort of planning done. I went to a site that specializes in gay travel and vacations and all of the details were able to be worked out right there.

A friend of mine recently lost his girlfriend of many years. They were one of the closest couple that we knew. My husband and I had a great vacation each winter and this year will be no different.
