Ab Workout: Oblique Curl

Oblique Curl is an ab workout that targets, you guess right, your obliques.  This exercise is recommended especially for women because it shapes and tones your waist.  With well-toned oblique muscles, you will surely look good on a baby tee and skinny jeans. Oblique Curl also targets your “love handles” or that nasty deposited fat in your med area. This is a great ab workout to go with your crunches and reverse curls for the complete core strengthening and flattening exercise routine.  Obliques are basically the muscles located on each side of your front abdominals.  Since oblique curl exercise involves rotation from our waste, you get to really work out your obliques with this exercise. When doing this exercise, be mindful of your neck.  Avoid straining your neck by forcefully pulling them up.  The effort should be from your abs and not from your neck.
