Benefits of the Infrared Sauna

Many individuals, including doctors and other health and medical professionals, claim that infrared saunas have many health benefits. By penetrating the body and raising the overall body temperature, the infrared heat can activate sweat glands and release toxins from the body. This procedure can have unintended, but welcome health benefits.

For example, those individuals that used an infrared sauna had improvements in blood pressure, strengthened their heart, and showed more tolerance of exercise in relation to individuals that did not use infrared saunas. This was reported in the Journal of Cardiac Failure in 2005. Talk about great side benefits!
