Due to some very poor financial decisions, a friend of mine has accrued a large amount of debt in the form of credit card spending. She is working really hard to pay them off, but it is difficult for her even with two jobs. She currently lives in a very old rental property. She has been renting for probably 10 years and has moved numerous times because there are always problems with either the property or the landlord. She wants to buy a house of her own but will probably need to apply somewhere that offers bad credit mortgages. Do all banks offer these or are they limited to a select type of financial institution?
