When I got married, I never intended to amass a large amount of debt. I do not consider myself an irresponsible spender but yet here I am with several thousand dollars in debt. We never spent money on things we did not really need, just on various items we needed for our house that we could not necessarily afford by paying cash. Lately I have been looking for debt management help through various outlets. Apparently there are several nonprofit organizations out there that are able to help families that are in similar situations like myself and can give me tools to help me overcome it.
