Recently when traveling several hundred miles to a special racing event a utility trailer was needed by my friends who did not want to ride their bikes all the way there and back in the same day due to time restraints and the fact that long rides are often not very comfortable. Luckily another friend had a utility trailer and they were able to load the motorcycle and comfortable climb into the truck and down the road they went. Having a tarp secured to the utility trailer to cover their motorcycle came in handy also when the rains came while passing through a small town. Had they not had this utility trailer and had been riding this could have both been dangerous and very uncomfortable.
