May 28th, 2008 . by adminI am very interested in finding out more about renewable energy sources, in particular wind energy. I love the idea of getting energy from the wind, rather than fossil fuels. However, I am not sure I understand how it works. How does wind energy work? What happens when the wind isn’t really blowing for a while, or when it blows really strongly? Does the wind ever break the windmills? Is there someway to compensate for the fact that wind strength is so variable? When the wind blows harder does more energy get created? How do they store the wind energy?
