Nobody tells you before you get a puppy how incredibly difficult it’s going to be at first! And of course, all you can think about is that cute, chubby, rolly-polly pup! I’ve had my little guy for just about a month now, and even though I adore him, he is a pain at times! He likes chewing up phone books, shoes, furniture – heck, anything he can get his little teeth on! So I’ve started taking him on longer walks every day, and playing with him more, in hopes that he won’t chew out of boredom. And I’ve bought him some chew toys, so that he can satisfy his urge to chew on something other than my nice shoes.
