I sometimes watch "The Biggest Loser". I notice that during the start of the contest, some of the contestants (women contestants) wear Plus Size Shrugs.  But they eventually discard them especially at the end of the show when they have lost a lot of weight and they do not need to wear anything that helps them hide their fats. 

There are many types of shrugs. There are boleros and sweater types of shrugs.  There are even different types of materials where shrugs are made out of.  That is what is great about shrugs. There are many variations and you can use them for different occasions.
