I love Northern Michigan winters.  I love knowing that you won’t know when it’s going to snow so hard that you might not be able to leave your home for a few days.  These are the days to sit by a crackling fire and read a book and drink coffee or cocoa.   A lot of people don’t like that, but I thrive on it.  I’ve been a writer for many years and the winter is the best time to write for me, because there are a lot less distractions.  When I need to go out, I just put on my trusty Timberland boots, and I’m good to go.
