Amazon Kindle Has A fight On Its Hands
November 6th, 2009 . by adminIt really looks as if 2009 will be remembered as the year the the e-book market exploded. This is largely due to the Amazon kindle reader which, having initially launched in 2007, saw the second generation in the form of the Kindle 2 and the Kindle DX launch this year. Whilst Amazon are currently dominant, other manufacturers are lining up readers right left and centre. Sony, Asus, Apple and Microsoft have readers in the pipeline and Barnes and Noble has just announced that they will launch their own reader – the Nook. Barnes and Noble will have an e-book library of over one million titles. It looks like Amazon have a fight on their hands.
