Because not everyone has a fast Internet connection
March 10th, 2008 . by adminWhile working with my orange county Web design consultants the other day, they reminded me that my website should not have too many images on it. While pictures and diagrams and such have their place, embedding these images in webpages increase their total size. Many people still have very slow Internet connections (particularly those in third world countries as well as isolated, rural areas), and large webpages can take an eternity to load. Reduce the number of images you have on your website pages to the absolute minimum — and make sure that the image files are optimized so that day will not take up too much space or take too long to download.
