I run a small factory in Southern California right outside of San Diego. I love the factory, the machinery, and even the employees. We are like one big family, and I love the feeling of going to work and enjoying myself. For years I worked for another factory, but now I get to work for myself. Of course, I have more responsibilities. When the system broke last month, I had to find and pay for a servo motor in Southern California and install the thing so we could be back online. Okay, so I paid someone to install it. But still, that is something I’ve never had to do before. Between that and payroll, I’m learning new things all the time.
