I have been living in caleta de fuste Fuerteventura for going on four years now, and can honestly say, I have never been more relaxed. The pace and quality of life here is wonderful, and each day feels like a Saturday – even though I work hard most days.

The island is limping through the current financial crisis, as the one way to get here in any volume of numbers is by airplane, so we have to contend with jet fuel costs, as well as reluctant vacation-takers worried about the weak Euro right now.

But it could not be all doom & gloom, I may see a little light at the end of this long tunnel, but its not here yet.
